ReplyDeleteIt doesn't really bother me...everyone was the same way with the Jonas Brothers..The only thing that annoys me and honestly kinda freaks me out is when girls who are like 16 and 17 love him!He's like 15! and OBVIOUSLY prepubescent. I mean once he hits puberty his career will probably be over.It just freaks me out when all these girls say they love him.

ReplyDeleteI'm 21 so i'm not in love with him. But I do think he is adorable and very talented. As for "remixing" his voice, you can watch his videos on YouTube, username kidraul or kidrauhl...He's singing completely live and sounds exactly the same. They like him because he is the new teen singing sensation. Just like how everyone loved the Jonas Brothers. Or N*Sync and the Backstreet Boys. Just another fad.
ReplyDeleteAs a former youth theater director for one of the country's oldest, continuously operating community theaters and who runs a touring youth theater production company four months a year; I can tell you this kid has remarkable talent, has poise beyond his years - check out his interview on Chelsea Lately on the Style Network - and has a unique natural style for someone aged 15.To be honest, his music and style are not exactly my cup of tea, but in the crossover pop/R&B/hip-hop music scene which so dominates the charts in recent years blurring the line between urban/suburban success; this kid is the perfect fit.I have viewed a few of his live performances before he was discovered, and there is nothing faked or remixed about his talent.The test will come as his voice changes and the path he chooses to take his music. He has some very powerful associates in the music business, but only time will tell if he is a flash in the pan, like Hanson, or the next Justin Timberlake.
